After the short trip to the world of science fiction, it had to be something of a “higher cultural value” again.
Since the release of Douglas R. Hofstadter’s book “Gödel, Escher, Bach”, computer scientists appreciate the artwork of M. C. Escher, if not earlier.
So this simple adaption of his well known “Metamorphosis” images suggested itself.

This time only the number “42” is included at the bottom left border. It replaces – written in slightly modified Roman numericals (XLII) – Escher’s signature (MCE), which can be found in most of his pictures.
